Whisky & Antipasto Gift Hamper Glenmorangie

From the Ross Shire Highlands in Scotland, the Glenmorangie Distillery was built in 1843 by William Matheson and his wife Anne.

The very beautiful Glenmorangie Nectar D'Or is a 16 year old whisky that is aged for 14 years in bourbon casks and then spends a further 2 years imbuing the various flavours from casks from 3 regions in Europe. Firstly, the Sauterne and Monbazillac casks from France and then into Muscatel casks from Spain before finally spending time in the very sweet Tokaji casks from Hungary. A deliciously sweet mix of almonds, honeycomb and everything sticky and sweet!
